Hey,
this should work without changing settings and Edit Related Posts should open a new window with related posts. Unfortunately, we cannot reproduce this issue on our test blogs.
Can you please give us the URL of your blog so we can check whether some script is not loading on your page?

Thanks for the response Mateja. The “Edit Related Posts” option is working now. However, I am facing another problem now. Even though I have set “6” as the no. of related posts that should show up, many more are showing up, like 12 in this particular case: http://www.edureka.in/blog/increasing-demand-for-hadoop-and-nosql-skills/.
What can I do to remove the extra posts, and have only 6 show up here. Thanks and appreciate the prompt response!

from what I can see on your page you’re using Pinterest theme with three related posts initially shown.
If you click on Load more posts you’ll get more than three, but if you don’t want this, just select some other theme in plugin’s settings, e.g. Vertical (Large).

We used Related Posts plugin for showing Recommended products on product’s pages. There was a SSL problem and we need Edit Related posts function, because sometimes plugin generates link to same product but in different language (We are using Polylang plugin for translating posts and pages). And it was also too difficult to edit related posts for hundred of products…
