    Hello Moderators!

I read in the Forum Welcome page to contact you to edit/delete old posts on a topic I started. All I really need is to remove the links to the test website when the site goes live because those links will be deleted anyways. Is that something you can do for me? I can send you the thread of the topic I started and just delete any links to the test website. Is this possible? Otherwise I can just delete those links once the site is up. Thanks for your help : )

Generally no, we don’t delete them, and when people raise a stink because their public post on a public forum was searched, it a just a headache.

Basically you posted on a public forum. Unless you have a REAL reason, like legal reason, to need them removed, leave it alone and don’t worry about it. It won’t hurt your SEO in the long run.

Thanks for the quick reply. I did read that page. No biggie, just thought I would ask. I am not worried about SEO at all, just thinking about the dead links after launch is all. Thanks!
