Edit post: tags field is bugged

    Hi, I’ve tried to add tags to an already existing post on the edit page but it seems bugged. 1) I’ll start typing but the existing “Add new tag” copy is still visible underneath. 2) Nothing happens when I click the “Add” button.

    I’ve tested this out on Firefox and Chrome on WinXP. Tested on FF for Mac OSX.

    Note: It turns out the many of the right column functionality is not working. I can’t change the Status, Visibility, “Choose from the most used tags…”, swapping between category tabs, etc. But the Preview and Publish buttons do work. I guess it’s an dynamic/AJAX issue?

    Have you tried:

    – deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem? If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

    – switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-related problems?

    – resetting the plugins folder by FTP or phpMyAdmin? Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
