Edit Post – Missing Text (blank textarea)

    Hey there!

    When using the “Edit link” on some posts or trying to edit from within the Dashboard, this results that the textarea of the Edit Post page is totally blank, i. e., my text is away and I also cannot restore it by revision versions…

    But there is still the correct headline.

    As mentioned before, this issue does not happen with all posts, but just with some.

    Anyone knows what happened and how I can fix it?!

    Strangely, I realized that there doesn’t appear a blank edit page, if I use Internet Explorer.

    But it does with Chrome, Opera and Firefox.
    How can this be?!?!

    it does not look like WP problem its just your browser as far as I understand. however, to solve to problem simply reinstall browser. stay updated on wp..

    can you freshly re create these 2 pages. with a clean codes/text you may have some copy pest kind of things that are not saving/acceptable in the DB for security or something.

    It’s weird, because one of this two pages is really new. I created it just the last week and, in fact, copied the text out of Libre Office Writer (I’m using Kubuntu / Linux as operating system) and pasted it to WP.

    But the other page was created long time ago within WP, without copy & paste…
    So this is really weird…

    Maybe you have another advice for me?

    I took your advice, shamratdewan, and did as you said.

    But I entered the text in parts and saw, that the error appears, if I use the signs → or ←.

    I can enter them with my operating system Linux directly over the keyboard.

    But why does this causes suddenly problems with WP?!
    Befor WP 3.6 it didn’t either?!
