Hello, Zeedynamic is a great theme, but I am missing “edit post” link (for example in “smartline-lite” this link is next to category directly under the post name. I need to edit my posts frequently so this function is very important to me! I was able to add “<?php edit_post_link(__(‘{Quick Edit}’), ”); ?>” into single.php, but it is not the best solution.
Can you help me to create edit post link neatly as it is in smartline? What code shpuld I edit? Thank you in advance.

    Hi there,

Thanks so much for using zeeDynamic.

We do not include Edit Post links in our newer themes anymore, because WordPress has introduced the Toolbar which already includes Edit Post links.

You can go to Users > Your Profile to enable the Toolbar on the frontend if it is not visible. Then you can always edit your post with one click from the Toolbar, similiar to the Edit Post link.

Thank you for answer, but this allow edit currently opened post only. I use post list with 30 posts on my blog (with read more) and for edit I must open post first and it is not very practical. In Smartline it is OK because there are 30 quick edits links on homepage and editing is very easy (without opening single post). Also in Smartline there are tags listed under each post in list view as well ass single view.

I would like to add quick edit link and maybe tags under posts in post list view if it is possible – just as it is in Smartline theme. Thank you.

    Hi again,

You have to create a child theme and override the theme templates of zeeDynamic to achieve that. If you do not have knowlege of WordPress theme development I recommend to hire a freelancer, since it is not an easy task.

If you want to edit multiple posts you can also open the Editor multiple times from the WordPress backend with one click.

    Best,
    Thomas
