Edit pages (easy question)

  • Hi,

I have one easy question. I have a page on which I want some text fields and some images on different places. I dont want to do that with DIVs or another codes but I want to do that ideally in some editor where I will prepare it with mouse. And where this application will spit the final HTML code, which I will insert to the wordpress.

Could you recommend me any solution? I prefer MAC platform, but its not decisive.

    Thanks a late 🙂

  • There are literally thousands of WYSIWYG HTML programs out there.

Try Google. Or start here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HTML_editor

It’s unlikely to work to create HTML code someplace else — as the CSS code for your site is totally theme and site specific. So unless you connect the external program to your site somehow, it will not use the correct CSS code. You can’t do page layout without CSS.

Why not use the visual editor in WP?
