# Edit page site & Avia Layout builder not functioning – Java issues

 * Hey,
 * After I updated to WP 4.0 I can no longer edit my pages at all.
    The editing 
   page is not responding and I cannot toggle Avia Layout Builder on/off. It keeps
   loading, and when I click any function on the site it just adds # at the end 
   of the URL.
 * I have tried deactivating all plugins; did not help.
 * – I re-installed the WP 4.0 (automatic update). I do not have access to FTP or
   folders since we got someone else to build it. He, however, has access to those
   folders.
 * – I also read the 40 Master List but I’m not that tech-savvy a person, so I did
   not really get anything from that. I do, however, not have any of the plugins
   on the list.
 * – I also tried to use Google Libraries plugin but with on success.
 * I used my Chrome console to get the following errors:

 * All plugins and theme are updated.
