 * If you want any sort of help at all, you are going to have to ry to explain your
   situation, and what you want to accomplish a bit better?
 * What options?
    What entry page? What theme? etc…

 * Buttons in the upload/insert window do not display. Also visual option does not
   work. Have deactivated all plug ins and have also reloaded the Word Press version
   2.9.1. Theme being used is the default theme

 * Solved the problem by installing the Dean’s FCKEditor For WordPress plug in. 
   this replaces the Word Press editor which seemed to be the root cause of the 
   problem.
