# Edit option for Users

 * I’m sorry if this has been brought up as did not see; logged out users see the
   Edit link at bottom of table – any way to disable that or hid? Confusing to users.

 * Thanks for your post and sorry for the trouble!
 * TablePress normally only shows that “Edit” link to logged-in users that have 
   the corresponding access permissions. Other users will normally not see this!
 * Therefore, this indicates that either your site uses some sort of caching where
   the content that a logged-in users sees is cached, or (maybe more likely) that
   the `[table ... ]` Shortcode on that page has maybe be replaced with static HTML
   code for the table (I have seen that with some themes that offer something like“
   frontend editing”.). So, at first, I suggest to check if that page still has 
   the Shortcode (or block) and if caching could be influencing all this.
 * Now, there is also the option to turn off that “Edit” link for everybody (including
   logged-in users), via [https://tablepress.org/extensions/remove-edit-link/](https://tablepress.org/extensions/remove-edit-link/),
   but normally that should not be needed.
