Code as below:
<a href="<code>mentioned.url</code>">Go to the discussion</a> to reply or catch up on the conversation.
Hi,
Thank you for using MediaPress.
For the time being, you can disable it using code.
Please have a look at this
https://buddydev.com/support/forums/topic/point-comment-on-media-notification-link-to-activity-and-not-media/#post-24743
Hope that helps.
BuddyDev Team.
Thanks for your reply. That is a great starting point.
So with that code, we now get taken to below URL string on click of “Go to the discussion” hyperlink from email:
https://website.com/activity/p/123/
Which then redirects to below structure in browser:
https://website.com/members/membername/activity/123/
How do we change it to be simply below?
https://website.com/customurlpart/member-name/
Looking to apply this structure for both “mentioned.url” and “thread.url” please?
Referencing my previous reply from last week, assuming this isn’t possible to achieve with Mediapress then?
Hi Blair,
My apology for the delayed reply.
The redirection and the actual activity url are managed by BuddyPress. MediaPress does not have any code related to that.
You may check our previous filter on how we filtered BuddyPress’s url and hanged it to a different one.

Thank you.
I see that you are trying to filter the email token and instead of pointing to the activity you want it to point to the user.
This is for the mention email I am guessing. BuddyPress does not offer any token for that specific email to point to user’s profile.
So, The way I see it is by filtering bp_email_set_tokens
and adding a new token. Then using it in the mail.
