There are way too many things that can be edited, and that should happen in the backend. You can always send people the edit link by showing the placeholder #_EDITEVENTLINK in your event format somewhere (which also allows delete). Viewing is by default possible if the event is public or the person is logged in (which happens by default after submit unless the option, but check the options “Always show success page” and “Success page”).
