 * I was told to come here by the .com people. My problem is. I use to have the 
   home button linked to an external website. It worked before, but for some reason
   it is not now. So when your on the external website and click on tab blog. It
   takes you to wordpress, and when you click on home. It takes you back to the 
   external site. This is the external site.

   is definitely on .COM — see the link at the bottom of the page. And if you look
   up that domain name on WHOIS – it’s clearly hosted on WordPress.COM. So if I’m
   understanding you correctly, you are trying to change the link on the home button
   of the .COM site? In that case, they are the only ones who can help you with 
   that — we don’t have any control of .COM sites whatsoever.

   reason. it lost the link.

 * .COM has a lot of helpful documentation, so you might look over there as to how
   to edit the menus — I think that’s what you’d need to do.
