    The EA Filterable Gallery is not displaying correctly (just a bunch of horizontal photos stacked on top of each other, rather than the nice gallery with text).

    I have two of these galleries at the link given, one I’ve just inserted w/o changing anything, and one I’ve edited. It is the same problem for both.

    Thanks for any help!

    I realize now that it seems to be a problem in Google Chrome. The link works fine in Microsoft Edge.

    Any ideas of how to fix this in Chrome?

    Also, a separate issue when a gallery image is open: In Chrome, no Left/Right arrows (next image) are showing. In Edge, only the Left arrow shows.

    Hi there,

    Can you please make sure that you have configured the Filterable Gallery properly with the correct Filterable Controls? You can check out this documentation: https://essential-addons.com/elementor/docs/content-elements/filterable-gallery/

    Also, I am seeing an error in the console coming from navmenu-addon-for-elementor. Can you please try deactivating the plugin and let me know how it goes?

    Thank you.

    I have looked at the filterable gallery instruction page, and think I have the Filterable Controls set properly. On one of the galleries, I have not touched the controls, but left them as-is. It has the same display problems as the other gallery that I did edit.

    I just now deactivated the navmenu-addon-for-elementor. The only result is that the menus disappeared. The gallery problem still exists.

    Maybe it is a problem in my Chrome browser settings?

    Thanks for your help!

    @stuperific,

    Hi, there. Well, the Right arrow button doesn’t show up in the Firefox either. So, it’s not a browser issue. It’s very likely that the styling is being overridden by the Theme you are using. Would you please switch to a default theme and let me know how it goes?

    Thank you.

    I’m using the Elementor Hello Theme. I think that may already be the default? The only other themes I see are Twenty Sixteen, Twenty Seventeen, and Twenty Nineteen. If I change to one of those, will I lose anything and have to re-edit when I go back to Elementor Hello Theme?

    BTW, the gallery layout now looks fine on Chrome. Also, now in Chrome, the left arrow is there now. The right arrow still missing, as it is in the other browsers.

    Thanks.

    @stuperific,

    By switching back to a theme won’t lead to you losing your works. Don’t worry. You can always switch it back too.

    Regarding the missing Right arrow, I can provide you custom CSS to resolve it. However, seems like you have removed the Filterable Gallery which you were facing the issue with. Can you please insert it again?

    Thank you.

    Which theme should I change too? The only themes installed are Elementor Hello (current theme), Twenty Sixteen, Twenty Seventeen, and Twenty Nineteen.

    There were two Filterable Galleries for which the right arrow issue was a problem: one I have edited (has not been removed) and one I have not edited (was removed, but now is inserted again).

    (The other issue, how the galleries displayed, the original issue I opened this thread with, seems to no longer be a problem.)

    Thank you for the CSS idea. I don’t think I can use a custom CSS unless I buy the Pro version of Elementor. Right now I use only the free version.

    Thanks for your help.

    Hi there,

    Well, you actually can add CSS through another plugin or from your Theme as well. Check out this doc to help you out: https://essential-addons.com/elementor/docs/faq/apply-custom-css-elements/

    Also, add this following custom CSS to resolve this issue:

    .mfp-arrow.mfp-arrow-right.mfp-prevent-close {
        padding-right: 100px;
    }

    This should resolve it. Let me know how it goes. Thank you.

    As the link you sent suggested, I was able to add the custom CSS through WordPress Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize – > Additional CSS.

    Now the right arrow works! Thank you.

    Do you mind explaining how you solved the gallery display issue? I am facing an issue were the gallery displays images as a horizontal long image without hover effects over them, they look terrible as hell, but the problem is happening on chrome, en edge, they display perfectly!

    I followed the instructions above given by rafinkhan. It solved the right arrow problem. However, in the end I was not happy with the way this gallery displays, and so went with a simpler gallery that had no issues.
