    Currently, we can only select the date up to current day, we aren’t able to create advanced invoices. E.g. today is 31st march but it is unable to create a invoice for April. Also, it would be great if we could edit the completed date after it was paid. So if it’s payment via bank transfer we can set the correct date where they paid for the item instead of when we switch it to completed state.

    Hi,

    I’m sorry but it is like that because, in most countries, invoices can’t have a future date. They must have the date of the day they have been issued.

    Nobody ever requested the option to create invoices for the future before. What would be the use case for this?

    I’m creating a request for the option to edit the completed date. We’ll add this option in a future release.

    Hi,

    i saw that we are able to edit the payment date on the payment meta. but it doesn’t change when we update the invoice

    Hi @reuden

    The payment date field was not meant to be edited that’s why it was not saving. We’ve addressed this issue here and you’ll be able to edit the payment date in the next update.
