    Good day,

A customer made an error in their order on one of the custom drop-down menus during checkout, but only realised after paying.

Is it possible to edit this?

This particular custom field doesn’t appear when you the edit order.

You can edit the custom fields from your Order details page. The custom fields will be displayed in the section Custom Fields in the order details page.

Could you please verify whether the option Custom Fields is ticked in the Screen Options in the order details page.

Also, while using the plugin Advanced Custom Fields, it is hiding the display of the custom fields on the order detail page for better performance.

    Hope this will help 🙂

    Thank you

    Hi,

Yes, I can see the custom fields, but the dropdown (select age group) does not display here.

    Any way to change this?

    Any help here?

I see a few of the fields don’t actually appear in the custom fields option.

Unfortunately, the select field options won’t be available on the Order details page. You need to manually enter the option values for the select fields in the Custom Fields section on the order details page.

We believe that those fields might not be used in any of the previous orders due to which it is not showing in the drop-down. In this scenario, you need to manually provide the field name in the text box by clicking on the “Enter New” option.

Once the field is used in the order, it will be available in the drop-down.

    Hope this will help.

    Thank you!

    – Is this before the order is placed or afterwards?

    Hi,

I have done core theme updates and Woocommerce template updates and it seems the fields I need to edit (post order) are there now 🙂
