Hi There,
Thanks so much for providing me with that information.
So our team have confirmed that this was an issue that came about as a result of working on some changes designed to work better with some new changes that WordPress released. We’re working on a permanant fix for this, however, we currently have a patch available here:
https://gist.github.com/rafsuntaskin/9c8d3267f0a3b78fc4c6050b1da25000
That you can add to your theme’s function.php file (after performing a backup) that should resolve the issue. Remember to not copy the <?php tag from the gist and place it right below the <?php tag in your functions.php file.
Kind regards,
Chika
Same issue here when manually adding an attendee.
I’ve just tested the fix and for me it does not work.
Thanks & kind regards

I am having the same issue. Unfortunately the patch did not work for me either.
I can confirm that I have the same issues and that the patch does not work.
Can we expect a fix for this sometime soon please?
as reported by @steakfestival , @pthpndr & @imfabian , the patch added to my theme’s functions.php didn’t work !
Hi Everyone,
Sorry for the delay here, We’re currently working on a fix for this issue and this thread will be updated as soon as we have one for this issue.
I apologize for any inconvenience that may be caused here while we work to get this resolved.
@chadtcd ,the patch /plugin is working.
GREAT. thanks.
I am currently using
Event Tickets : Version 5.1.3
Event Tickets Plus : Version 5.2.3
The Events Calendar : Version 5.6.0
The Events Calendar PRO : Version 5.6.0
will the patch be included in the next update? I will need to disable the patch/plugin at that time, right?
thanks
