    VO store locator standard.

    I have two tags defined.

I create a number of listings (by hand using the form), selecting a tag for each.

    Go to VO Locator listings.
    Click edit.

Quite frequently (but not always), the tag drop-down reverts to “–select tag–” rather than the tag that is defined in the database.

This is painful as every time I edit, I need to remember to reset the Tag value.

Browser is Chrome (inogntio, if it matters.)

I don’t see a pattern in when the tag is properly selected and when it’s not…

Update: I poked around in the database with SQL, and found some listings didn’t have tags. But I’m positive that I provided a tag for every location when I created it. So perhaps the issue is that the tag isn’t being recorded when the locations are entered… or perhaps edit is losing the tag. I still don’t see a pattern.

The Tags are being recorded properly, every time you edit a tagged listing, the selected tag is stored and won’t revert even after updating the listing(you see the Select Tag option at the top). The selected tag appears in dark grey gradient. Please see the screenshot http://d.pr/i/1lfDh. In this case, Georgia is the tag assigned to the listing.

As the login is provided, I will check if this is the issue happening particularly at your site.

    Thanks

It’s the “tags” selectbox in the edit form that doesn’t seem to be set properly.

    I’m sorry that I don’t have a 100% reproducer.

At times it has seemed to be related to where a location appears on the listing page, but that also isn’t 100%.

    Some more detail:

I created the listings in groups one at a time, without leaving the “add listing” page. I included a tag with each. I checked my work from another tab, from which I refreshed the map.

I then went back to add fields – e.g. URL in one pass and IMAGE in another.
It was when I did this (clicking EDIT from the listing pages) that the select box wasn’t set properly. Again, frequently, but not always.

FWIW, while entering locations I did some searches to see if I had already entered a location, and then used browser BACK to cancel the search.

Perhaps this confused the SELECTBOX presets…

The navigation might also relate this issue to the other bugs that I noticed.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi tlhack,

This is not reproducing on either side, i.e. at your side too it seems to work fine.

Please let us know if the same problem persists in future.

    Thanks,
    Jurski
