# Edit a custom block pattern

 * I created a block pattern and now I want to edit it or remove it. Here [https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/block-pattern/](https://wordpress.org/documentation/article/block-pattern/)
   they write Select **Appearance** -> **Editor** at Administration Screen. But 
   I can’t find this in my WP Dashboard. 
   How can I edit my own blocks?

 * If you don’t see Appearance > Editor in your admin menu, you do not have a block/
   FSE theme, you have a classic theme. To see patterns you’ve created and saved
   yourself, go to /wp-admin/edit.php?post_type=wp_block to see a list of what you
   have. You can edit these like you would other posts and pages.

   it was a block/FSE theme, strange. But your link worked, so thanks a lot. It 
   makes working with patterns a lot easier.
