• Hi Timm,

I’m trying to upload an .oam created in Adobe CC. I read through the entire https://wordpress.org/support/topic/not-working-after-latest-adobe-cc-update thread, but still no luck.

The problem I’m having is that I can browse to the .oam that I want to upload, but when I hit the “Upload” button, it just spins for a while and then tells me “No file selected.”

I made sure to add a preloader, and check the box for “Publish preload DOM as separate file”, but it didn’t make a difference. This was the same problem I was having when I tried uploading before I installed the updated dev version of the plugin.

I’m still able to upload .oam files created with the older version of Adobe Edge. Just not ones with the most recently updated Edge CC.

    Any suggestions? Thanks.

  • Hi Mitch,

What is your “Max upload file size” set to?
You can find this in the WP Admin, under Edge Suite, Settings.

    Thanks,

Right… max upload size. So my .oam was bigger than my max upload size. I’ve downsized my file to be smaller than the max allowed by WordPress, but it still won’t upload. However, now I’m getting a message that tells me my file is too large, so I’ll try making it smaller yet.

    Thanks for the help.

Hey, if you want to upload the OAM somewhere and post the link (or sent the link, not the OAM to edge@timmjansen.com). I can test it on my local install and see if I can get it to work, then we know if it’s a problem with your server or with ES.

    Hi Timm,

Posted on my company’s FTP, and emailed you login info.

    Hi Mitch,

uploading the animation worked for me locally after raising the upload limit to 8MB in the edge suite settings. It also plays as any other animation, so this doesn’t seem to be directly related to edge suite. I checked and you have a really big jpeg and png in there. For testing try to reduce the file size and get under 1MB or so, I bet this is a server upload/filesize issue.

I’m heading on holidays in T-minus 30 minutes, but will definitely give this a try when I return. Thanks again for all the help!

Hello, i’ve got also some problems…

some errors with the notice that a few query and Edge files couldn’t be found.
    Dit i do something wrong?

    Hi wverveer,

That sounds like you might have one of the older versions of ES (not the dev version) loaded. I will reply to your other forum post since it goes into a bit more detail.

@roberts_972 Please try the dev version of the plugin as state in a couple of other threads.
