EDD Purchase Button Does Not Go To Paypal Checkout

    This must be either a Paypal or WP theme problem. Under the Payment Gateways tab inside the EDD plugin settings we have linked the Paypal account e-mail address where we’d like to have customer payments sent. On our CART page the “PURCHASE” button does not do anything at all.

    What are we missing? A solution ASAP would be greatly appreciated.

    Hello!

    The problem appears to be due to an invalid SSL certificate installation on your site.

    I’m showing the following error: ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH

    That means the SSL certificate has not been installed correctly. Please see this guide for assistance in resolving it: https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/err_ssl_version_or_cipher_mismatch/

    Once that is resolved, the issue should be taken care of.

    Hold up. Do you mean I haven’t purchased the SSL certificate? I haven’t done that. So the info you’re providing can’t be (is only) useful until I purchase the SSL certificate from my web hosting provider. Correct me if I’m wrong.
