A link to the site would be a good start.
apologies, im in a bit of apanic
Try deactivating all of your plugins and then reactaviate just WooCommerce. See if that gets things back. If so, then reactivate the other plugins one by one.
does that lose any content??
I’m new to this and have spent many many hours on that site
Nope – your content is in the DB. Deactivating plugins is very standard troubleshooting.
all plugins turned off and it looks even worse
Have you started reactivating them?
slowly yes, nothing makes any difference yet
all back on, no change at all
Here’s WooCommerce’s advice:
https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-debug-issues-after-updates?replies=1
For additional help, you’ll need to post on that forum – sorry I don’t know what else to suggest π .
but that has nothing to do with wordpress updates??
I disabled ALL plugins so it cant be woocommerce
How do i downgrade or remove an update????
You really, really do not want to downgrade – this was a major security update – to patch a widely publicized vulnerability.
Looked to me like it was WooCommerce stuff that was messed up? But you can certainly try reinstalling WP – download a new copy to your local computer and then replace all files and folder EXCEPT wp-content and wp-config.php from the new download. Delete the old versions before uploading the new ones. You’ll need to do this using FTP or CPanel.
i cant risk losing anything, I need to call the host providers first to check they have a backup from yesterday safe
i could just get them to reinstall from the backup i guess
Yep, that’s a good idea, but I will repeat that it will be a MAJOR security risk to not do this update…
but the update wrecked it
surely that cant be right
