eCommerce plugin suggestion?

Hi everyone,

I’m considering transferring a friend’s ecommerce site over to wordpress to help save her some money. I’ve been looking around and there doesn’t seem to be a clear answer as to what the best ecommerce plugin is. Can you please help by giving me your any suggestions and/or advice?

Her needs:
1. She has ~1200 products that I would like to import somehow. It’s a csv file (and I might be able to get another format from the vendor.)
2. She needs a product search function.
3. I need something that’s easy relatively easy to maintain long term (I don’t want to make her update and manage code).

Preferably, something fee, but if it’s worth it, i’d consider paying.

I greatly appreciate your help.
