  • Hello,

    I have activated one theme and its footer is decoded with echo(gzinflate(str_rot13(base64_decode, when i tried to encode it and change some text i am getting copyright violent message box while reloading my site.
    Please suggest.The is

    <span class=”floatleft”>
    <?php
    //COPYRIGHT,DO NOT REMOVE THIS
    [code removed – please don’t post that kind of code here ] </span>
    when i decoded this i found

    <?php
    if(function_exists(THEME_KEY)) call_user_func(THEME_KEY);
    ?>

    @catacaustic

    very awesome

    Ditch that theme quickly!

    Anyone that goes to that much effort just for a copyright notice is more then likely to have a few other things built into the theme that you don’t want.

    As a general rule, 99.999% of things that use base64_decode() in a theme or a plugin are bad news and are meant to hide things like this.
