 * It’s also a matter of what the new format will offer over current implementations,
   such as RSS 2.0 and the MetaWeblog API.
    The syndication format would be trivial
   to support but a new API, if it didn’t offer anything above its predecessor besides
   being a new format, would be a waste valuable developer time.
