I have a question about the eBay Part Compatibility feature on a single product. When I add a compatibility table, I use the default “Make,Model,Year” column titles. My question is, if the item fits a range of years, for the same vehicle, do I need to add a row for every year, or can I add every year to one row. For example, let’s say I have a headlight, and it fits 2000 to 2004 Ford F-150 trucks. Would I add it like this:

Make: Ford, Model: F-150, Year: 2000,2001,2002,2003,2004

    or this:

Make: Ford, Model: F-150, Year: 2000-2004

    or this:

Make: Ford, Model: F-150, Year: 2000
Make: Ford, Model: F-150, Year: 2001
Make: Ford, Model: F-150, Year: 2002
Make: Ford, Model: F-150, Year: 2003
Make: Ford, Model: F-150, Year: 2004

Or is there another way to do it?

As far as I know you’d have to use one row for each year – like in your 3rd example.

You’re welcome to try the other options as well and let me know if any of them does work as well, but the parts compatibility tables I’ve seen so far always had a row for each year.

    kind regards,

    Matt

Yeah, that appears to be the case. That’ll work great for products that don’t have too many applications. But looks like I’ll have to stick to editing them on eBay for the broader products.

    Thanks for the help.
