 * Hello, I’m a newbie and struggling from the beginning. I bought a domain name:
   nebulous.be then a hosting package from Easyhost. This came with WordPress.Org
   CMS installation, which I ran. Now I can see in the FileManager on the server
   that there are many WP files there, along with PHP and SQL. But the link to nebulous.
   be doesn’t work in a browser (although I can access it via FTP, when it displays‘
   It Works’. So I’m pretty confused about how to start creating pages. I have a
   plan to install Elementor free version to start creating my website, but do I
   need to download it? Or should I get the clowd-based version? Sorry, many questions
   I know. I did a search for Easyhost in the forums but nothing relevant to my
   problems. I hope someone can point me in the right direction and many thanks
   in advance,
 * Steph

 * Currently I can’t access your domain because it seems to be not configured in
   the DNS. Please contact the support of your hoster. They need to connect the
   domain to your hosting. Before that WordPress can not be called.

 * You need to add “www” to your DNS definitions, as a CNAME for “nebulous.be”.
   This is through your hosting, not through WP.
 *     ```wp-block-code
       sdstern@sds-desk ~> nslookup nebulous.be
       Non-authoritative answer:
       Name:	nebulous.be
       Address: 217.19.237.54

       sdstern@sds-desk ~> nslookup www.nebulous.be
       ** server can't find www.nebulous.be: SERVFAIL
       ```
 * Hello Threadi and Steven, a million thanks for such speedy answers. Ok, I tried
   to add this to the CNAME on the dashboard and it said this:
 * [https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7495a3_b288cc36762c4b1697983360e4886d93_prv~mv2.png](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7495a3_b288cc36762c4b1697983360e4886d93_prv~mv2.png)
 * The only entry in the A-record is [https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7495a3_ca97e9b23f864375aa9122a9f47b9893_prv~mv2.png](https://static.wixstatic.com/media/7495a3_ca97e9b23f864375aa9122a9f47b9893_prv~mv2.png)
 * Should I just go ahead and add a [http://www.nebulous.be](http://www.nebulous.be)
   in the A-record do you think?
 * I would recommend creating an A record for the www subdomain. If that doesn’t
   work either, contact your hoster’s support since it’s their systems and interfaces
   you’re using for this – nothing from WordPress.
 * Hi Threadi, ok I went for this, but no further forward and getting the same error
   when trying to add the CNAME record so I filled in an Easyhost support form and
   hope they can help me out. I’ll update this post as soon as I get their response.
   Thanks again 🙂
 * Hi, Easyhost have sorted out my hosting problems now 🙂
 * This leaves the second tranche of my questions:  Do you recommend the free version
   of Elementor to start creating my website, and would I need to download it? Or
   should I get the cloud-based version?
 * Many thanks 🙂
 * I avoid recommending to other users any software that is essential for them when
   there are alternatives. Whether you use Elementor is absolutely up to you. Everyone,
   including you, has to find out for themselves if and how you get along with the
   plugin. Whether it meets your requirements and wishes as you would like it to.
   Therefore, you can not say a blanket “yes, take it”. Rather: “just try it out”.
   You can always reset your project/start over again if it doesn’t suit you.
 * An introduction to Elementor is offered by their academy: [https://elementor.com/academy/get-started/](https://elementor.com/academy/get-started/)
 * You can ask more questions about Elementor in their support forum:
 * Dear Threadi (and Steve)
 * Thanks so much for an incredibly useful reply and the vast amount of info on
   the alternatives to Elementor. Too much to read now, but I’ll start tomorrow.
   Very good to know also that I can reset my site if I don’t like whatever I start
   with.
 * Many thanks
 * Steph
