• Now this was easy, had it up ‘n runnin’ within 5 minutes. It works on my phone and it can also be installed with the help of Chrome (or Chromium on Linux) on the desktop. This is nice for testing.

I would give it 5 stars if it had smooth swiping between posts. I have a photoblog and I would love to be able to swipe from one photo to the next photo on my phone or tablet. I’d pay for this plugin if it had this feature. But I understand that swiping might be beyond the scope of this plugin. Oh, and being able to choose between the current setup and full screen without the default Android top bar would be nice too.

  • Hello @kamawp

Thanks for using SuperPWA and for your feedback.

Swiping between posts is doable, but outside the scope of the free plugin right now as you said. We might do this at some later point, I will add it to our list for now.

Any reason why you used the ratings system instead of using our active support forum to raise a feature request?

Ability to choose display options is coming in the next version 🙂

    Hello Arun,

I added the feature request only to explain the reasoning behind my 4 stars instead of 5 stars. But you’re right, the support forum would have been a more appropriate place. I will post the feature request over there. Meanwhile I had set the display option manually by changing “display”: “standalone” to “display”: “fullscreen” in a text editor and uploading ‘superpwa-manifest.json’ to the server. But apparently your plugin restores this automatically to “display”: “standalone”.

Thanks for your reply, I made a donation for your efforts so far, because I like the plugin. Keep up the good work.

    Hello @kamawp

Thanks for the donation, we really appreciate it 🙂

The manifest is regenerated every time you save a setting or when you update the plugin. Display selection is coming in the next version, so very soon!
