Ok. I will solve this problem later. Easy Timer works correctly on most sites. Download an older version:
http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/easy-timer/download/
Try different versions and send me the number of the most recent version that fixes the bug.

If you can’t solve your problem with an older version, send me the list of activated plugins on your site.
Kleor, there will be no side-effects on downgrading the plugin, right?
Kleor, I downgraded it down to version 2.5.2 and had partial success: when the page concluded its loading, the counting stopped…
Looks like another javascript is interferring. But which one?
The list of my active plugins is here: http://www.jlcarneiro.com/about/plugins/.
Kleor, I tried using Firebug. I have no experience with it but it kept showing an error “Timer is not a function”.

Yes. That’s what I thought when I studied your page. This bug is not in Easy Timer 2.6.3, and not in any version of Easy Timer. It’s a conflict with the nonSecureAnonymousFramework file (probably a file of LinkedIn).
I don’t know which plugin load this file (if this file is loaded by a plugin). Try to remove it or disable the load of this file. If you succeed, your bug will be fixed.

Confirmed: that’s part of LinkedIn share button script. When I disabled it, Easy Timer worked fine. Problem is, I looked for another way to set a LinkedIn share button and could not find one.
Since the error message refers to an internal Easy Timer function (timer), is it possible that changing it’s name would solve the problem?
Do you have any other suggestions?

Download the 2.6.4 version:
http://www.kleor-editions.com/medias/archives/easy-timer/easy-timer.zip
It’s not on the repository because I will add the period attribute soon to display periodic counters and I don’t want to release 2 new versions in just 2 days.
Thanks, Kleor!
It has worked fine so far. I have even activated WP-Minify and Easy Timer still counts continuously.
If you want, you can check it by yourself on the URL I already sent you:
Kleor, here my URL, if you find time to check it, please: http://www.jlcarneiro.com/quase-la-quase-la/.
BTW, just for curiosity, what did you do? Did you change the name of the function? 🙂
