Easy theme translation…

  • Hi

    I am going to translate a theme into Danish – just for myself, so no fuzz about making .mo .po or other such files!

    I would like to know if a translation of E.g:
    <h2><?php _e(‘Pages’); ?></h2>

    should be
    <h2><?php _e(‘Sider’); ?></h2>
    or just
    <h2>Sider</h2>

    … I just doesnt get the idea with the php-code … I have the idea that if I would do it correct, I should make a translation file and use the php – but that the simple version will work just as fine… right??

    @handysolo

    If it is just for you and you’re not worried about i-18-n, then sure, the simple version is fine.

    As far as I know, at any rate.
