    Tried to create a child theme using the codex instructions and blew it several times. THIS plugin gave me the foundation I needed, then I copied the original theme files that I’d already modified over to the child theme folder and could update the original theme without losing anything.

    Thank you to the plugin developer. I appreciate you greatly.
