Hi there! Let me first say thanks so much for creating this plugin. I love its functionality, and the interface!

I’m trying to use Easy FancyBox to showcase PDF files from a thumbnail image. I’m a writer, and I’m building a portfolio on my website where all of my published works will be listed. First I put a thumbnail into my portfolio and linked it to a larger image, and the plugin worked great, but the larger image was too small to read the writing, so I tried changing it to the PDF file, and now when you click on it the box comes up, but the PDF never appears.

I’ve enabled FancyBox for PDFs, selected auto-detect, and also tried putting in the class=”fancybox-pdf” tag manually. Even when I insert a simple link to the PDF without a thumbnail image, the box opens but without the PDF. Any ideas on what I’m doing wrong?

I’ve tried to link to the PDF with the link titled “Campaign Against Heathrow Expansion Hits New Heights” and the corresponding image below it. I haven’t tried it with any of the other images.

    Thanks so much!

  • If you enable Easy FancyBox I can take a look 🙂 but it sounds like the FancyBox overlay is basically working (there is a overlay showing, right?) but the PDF is not rendered inside the frame. This could be a problem with either your browsers PDF plugin (does it have one?) or an incompatibility with the embed code used in Easy FancyBox. Which browser are you using?
