I’ve been using Easy FancyBox with a callout for a YouTube video that opens in its own window. I’ve been wanting to replace the YouTube video since it calls up other videos after mine is done. I’d rather play it straight from my media library and be done with it. After uploading the video to media library in both MOV and M4V formats, I can only get the MOV version to work. Unfortunately, that version opens up in a completely a separate window rather than the pop-up window I want. Is there a way to link to a video in my media library and have it autoplay on open in a pop-up window?

  • To play videos, you need a video player. JWPlayer for example. Or use the correct HTLM5 embed codes and forget about users with older (IE) browsers…

By the way, there is an URL parameter that stops showing the related video suggestions at the end of the Youtube. Put &rel=0 at the end of the Youtube page URL (fromat www. youtube.com/watch?v=XXXXXX) or put ?rel=0 after the video Short URL (format youtu.be/XXXX) … Would that not be easier?

Thank you, RavenH! The &rel=0 solved the problem of an endpoint and saved me the trouble of installing a video player at this point. I’d still like to do that in the future, but it works for now.
