Try using Google Chrome’s Developer Tool for this kind of work.
I was using that tool and I easily found the CSS that applies the dots to <div id="page-wrap"> http://snag.gy/Ok4tN.jpg .

Oh yes I see it. Can I remove these dots using this developer tool?

    Thanks

You can expose the underlying CSS; selectors and styles and temporarily remove the dots in the developer tool. Then apply the change within your Child Theme stylesheet permanently.

How do I apply this change. Is there a way of saving this for the new CSS file?

Does that theme come with a section in the dashboard named, “Custom CSS”, “Custom Styles” or “Jetpack?

It has a custom section but you can’t change the dots. Only background image.

Download the Jetpack plugin and use its Custom CSS functionality to hold your CSS modifications.
