Not really in that way, but you can either use discount codes with an expire date, see http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/category/documentation/17-discounts/
Or create your own discount filter, see the filter examples: http://www.e-dynamics.be/wordpress/hooks-and-filters/

Yes, that is what I’m trying now with the limited coupon codes.
The amount that you define for a coupon code with a fixed value is not reducing by a per ticket base but for the whole order. Would be nice if you could set this reduction for a per ticket reduction, when not using a percentage value.
I don’t get how the filters work yet as I’m not a programmer. Perhaps a video tutorial would be helpful to learn that?

The filters are a wordpress thing, so I point in my page to wordpress for that:
https://developer.wordpress.org/reference/functions/add_filter/
Also, the page in my post above contains some examples on the filters to use (there is a discount example on that page, basically copy/paste that code in your theme function.php file will get you going). I know it takes some work, but filters are there just because it allows you to get it working the way you want.
Concerning the per-ticket or total reduction: it is a nice suggestion, I’ll see what I can do for that.
