EAN Number / DOKAN – Mandatory but no mandatory sign on the field

Hello Team Ean Number.,
Hope you’re well 🙂

I am opening this ticket because of a few issues:

1. I made this field mandatory in your plugin settings, but there is no sign that this field is mandatory on the Dokan Add Products and Dokan Edit Product Templates for vendors like I can have for other fields. Usually mandatory fields have a red asterisk *. Please see image here: https://ibb.co/D8VtZx8

2. Still in Dokan Vendor Ad/Edit product templates, how can I handle the bottom and top margin/padding of this specific EAN dokan-form-group? It is not well integrated and I tried to play with CSS and your ID “dokan__alg_ean” but can not manage to change the margin of this specific EAN form group. https://ibb.co/D8VtZx8

3. I added the option “Check if valid” in your plugin settings, but it does not seems to check if the EAN added exists or is in a valid format when vendors added it. Can you help me figure out what this function should do?

Thanks a lot for the follow-up. Not that the point 2, about the margin/padding as been resolved with your new update so I don’t need CSS now. But still issue on point 1 and 3:

1. Hi @sophie2e,

Please update the plugin to the latest v4.4.6, then in “WooCommerce > Settings > EAN > Compatibility > Dokan”:

Task #1: Set the “Required HTML” option to, e.g.:

 <abbr class="required" title="required">*</abbr>

Task #3: Set the “Description” option to, e.g.:

<div>[alg_wc_ean_is_unique] | [alg_wc_ean_is_valid]</div>

Please give it a try and let me know what you think.
