• Hello guys,
is it possible to save each articles files (images, pdf etc) in different folder than the default year/month that wordpress creates??

I would like to have a folder with the year (eg.2012), inside this folder the month (eg.01) and inside the 01 month, the folders of my articles created in that month. The name of each folder i want to be the id of each article..

Is this possible or should i use the default settings??

Sorry for my bad english i hope you understood.

    Thanks in advance
    Kostas

  • That’s not possible by default with WordPress. It may be possible through some crafty coding.

I’m not sure how much work that would take. I do know it’s something I couldn’t do… and probably not something that you could have done cheaply. I would suspect it would be a fair bit of work.

Probably best to stick with the default options unless it’s something you really need, and are willing to pay for (unless you are good at coding yourself… but I’m not sure this is even something that could be done through a plugin)
