• I have wp-super-cache installed on my blog and it works.
I wanted to speed up my admin area and read about eaccelerator.
I installed eaccelerator and verified that it is installed correctly and I think it is quicker now.
My question, to those of you that understand the cache of pages better than I and the workings of wp-super-cache:
Should I have both eaccelerator and wp-super-cache operational on the same server? Does wp-super-cache make use of eaccelerator?

  • You can use both on your server at the same time. Supercache can use eaccelerator if you have the related object cache plugin installed but as it doesn’t work very well it’s not really recommended.

So, install both eaccelerator and Supercache and you’ll be fine.
