# E_ERROR – Not fatal

 * We are receiving recurring PHP error notifications on several WordPress websites
   using Cool Timeline.
 * Error details:
 * E_ERROR: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function get_current_screen()
   File:
   wp-content/plugins/cool-timeline/cooltimeline.phpLine: 520
 * This error is currently being reported through WordPress/PHP error emails, but
   it does not appear to break the websites at the moment.
 * Since the function `get_current_screen()` is only available in the admin context,
   it may be worth checking whether the code at line 520 can be executed outside
   the admin area.
 * We wanted to report this issue because although it is not causing visible problems
   today, it could potentially become more problematic with future WordPress updates.
 * Please let us know if this issue is already known or if a fix is planned.

   We have fixed the get_current_screen() PHP
   error in Cool Timeline v3.3.3. Please update the plugin and let us know if you
   continue to receive any related error notifications.

 * Thank you for your reply.
 * The update was not offered automatically through WordPress on my website, so 
   I reinstalled the plugin manually to get version 3.3.3.
 * Since the reinstallation, the error seems to have disappeared and I have not 
   received any new notifications related to this issue.
