E-mail / share events to buddypress users

Hello, the question has probably been asked earlier but couldn’t find a topic about it. Is there a possibility to send a newly created event to registered buddypress users per e-mail? This feature would allow me to alert subscribers that there is a new event and triggers user to login and register for the events. Would be nice if this could be in general to all users, all users of a certain group and to selected users only.

Is there something like this available or on the roadmap?
