E-Mail Notification Plugin

Hi,

I was wondering if there was a plugin available for what I would like to achieve.

My comment system requires the post be manually authorized by website administration. When this occurs, the user is free to post messages that will appear immediately as long as they use the same e-mail and username the authorization was made for.

Once the authorization is made by an admin, I’d like to send out an e-mail to the person who made the comment. This does two things: remind them of their comment and attracts them back to the page to see potential replies, and gives them a copy of their “credentials” for posting immediately. Has this been made in a plugin?

I found this to be a highly tuned way of combatting spam but also gives the user comment satisfaction.
