E-mail me whenever !!!

    On the control panel of my blog in the Discussion tab of Options menu I select the option E-mail me whenever: Anyone posts a comment… but I only recibe an email when anyone post a comment in a discussion created by me!… And i want to recibe an email WHEN ANYONE POSTA A COMMENT IN ANY DISCUSSION… not only the discussion created by me!

    IS THIS POSIBLE???! can you tell how to do it??!!

    Email about comments go to the post author. To change this you’d have to modify the function wp_notify_postauthor in wp-includes/pluggable-functions.php.

    Or you could just put your email address in the post author’s User Profile 😉

    I modified the function pluggable-functions.php and now works like I want !!! thank U!…

    I have another question now! How can i configure my blog to send an email to each member when there is a New Post ??!!!

    Get the subscribe2 plugin. http://www.skippy.net/blog/plugins

    Then manually subscribe your users, or just email them all and let them do it themselves.
