    Below is an email I received from my client and wanted to know if this plugin will show tracking on our Google Analytics and do we need to add any JS code to a thank you page an all pages?

    Here’s what the marketing team sent me an my client April.

    Hi April, I am going to do my best not to hit you with things on a piecemeal basis, but this is relatively important. One of the first things I noticed in Google Analytics is that the site doesn’t have e-commerce tracking enabled. In other words, when you get an order on the site you see it through your platform (I believe you are on Shopify?), but Google Analytics is showing traffic and not orders. When we launch our marketing programs, we would like to be able to attribute orders to a particular marketing program in order to judge the effectiveness.

    First thing, you don’t need to add any code or JS manually on any page of your store since our plugin will automatically take care of it.

    Now, we did a quick look of your store & found that our plugin is working well on your store up to checkout page. However, we are unable to check the “thank you” page on your store due to payment methods.

    Additionally, your store has “Avada Child” theme & as we have already mentioned in the description of the free version of our plugin that it is not fully compatible with the child/custom theme.

    However, you can go through the premium version of our plugin in which we are providing the support regarding the child/custom theme.

    We don’t have an issue buying, is this a one time fee? Plus an email from our marketing person on duplication issues. Any way we can fix this?

    Hey Frank, how’s it going? April and I met today and compared orders and I think there is good news and bad news with Google Analytics. The good news is that as you and I have discussed it is obviously working and tracking orders, the bad news is that there seems to be some duplication. I would understand if every order were duplicated, I saw that once before with another client, but this seems to be only some orders. More specifically:
    The order on Sunday August 13th for $164.49 seems to be repeated on Monday August 14th – from a tablet
    On Tuesday August 15th April has 4 orders for $395.66 including one for $115.69.
    GA has 5 orders for $511.35, the difference between the two is $115.69 so obviously that order is duplicated – from a mobile device
    As you can see it’s a little weird that some orders are duplicating and not others, and while not every tablet or mobile order has duplicated, it’s interesting to note it hasn’t happened as of yet with a desktop order. Please let me know if I can do something to help track down the cause, sorry to throw this back to you, hopefully we are almost there. Thanks Frank!
