  • Hi, for about week or two e-commerce stoped tracking. Is there any way (online tool for example) to check what can be wrong? Where to start to resolve this problem?

    Hi,

    First of all:
    – have you updated any other plugins 2 weeks ago?
    – have you changed any plugin’s any option?
    – have you changed anything around your cookie consent?
    – did anyone publish any change inside your GTM container?

Hi, I can say yes to all unfortunatelly.
But I have some suspicion. If I take a look at the source code for website GTM tags are few times: some in the header, some in the footer. Maybe that’s the problem.
If you could take a look at this I’d be grateful.

    Hi again.
I’ve made test purchase. So GA gets gtm4wp.productClickEEC and gtm4wp.addProductToCartEEC but again it doesn’t get the conversion after the payment.

    Hi,

Sorry for the radio silence: if this issue is still present, please share the URL of your website so that I can place a test purchase. If you have a sandbox version where you can enabled any payment method that does not need immediate payment, I could use that too.

Thanks. Yes the problem still is present.
    Website is littleforest.pl

First of all: you have added an AdWords remarketing code using the Global Site Tag code snippet. It is recommended to add this via GTM as well with the AdWords remarketing tag template and remove the gtag.js code.

I checked your site and the network requests:
    – ecommerce data is present in the data layer
    – but it is not included in the GA hit

    Possible reasons:
    – either you haven’t enabled Enhanced Ecommerce in tag options on the GTM UI
    – or you are using the “All pages” trigger instead of the DOM ready trigger as described in my setup article:

    https://gtm4wp.com/how-to-articles/how-to-setup-enhanced-ecommerce-tracking

Thanks a lot. Yes I have changed DOM for “All Pages” That may be the reason?

DOM Ready should trigger the GA pageview tag with my plugin, yes
