I tried using some plugins available in wordpress. org but after activating my site still looks like a blog like site. * My idea is to establish a e-commerce platform but only listing services provided by various companies with no products. * At the same time, it will require the following features -3 user type ( administrator, provider and consumer) * -Users should only be able to register as provider or consumer and only the administrator should be able to make another user an administrator. * -When a user registers, the information taken should include name, address (street, city, country), email, phone, business/company name * -site should have categories and sub-categories for provider to upload their service * -The administrator(s) should be able to create categories and sub-categories. * – The service information should include service name, type (related to category and/or sub-category), description, price, images, meta-keywords. * – services should have to be approved by the administrator(s) before being published on the site. * – Sellers should be able to view all the services that they uploaded and be able to make edits (if edits are made then the administrator my re-approve the service). * – Consumer should be able to search for services by category, name, price and general keywords. * I would be grateful for guiding me step by step for all the requirements. I understand that there are developers like magento but their charges are high. Any advice ? Greatly appreciated.
