# e-commerce plugin installation problem

 * I have successfully installed a WordPress blog on an addon domain, [http://www.brotherjohnsongs.com/blog](http://www.brotherjohnsongs.com/blog).
   I know want to install the e-commerce plug for WordPress.
 * When I go through the WordPress Dashboard to locate and install the e-commerce
   plugin, I get the following error:
    ——————————————————————— **Downloading install
   package from [http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-e-commerce.3.7.6.7.zip…](http://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/wp-e-commerce.3.7.6.7.zip…)**
 * Unpacking the package…
 * Could not create directory. /public_html
 * Actions: Return to Plugin Installer
    ——————————————————————— I don’t know where
   to go from here.
 * Can anybody offer a suggestion? Does this have anything to do with trying to 
   install the e-commerce plugin on an addon domain?
