E-commerce cant and Widget Product categories

Hi
I am trying to learn to use the Ecommerce plugin and i added the widget Product categories it nicely displays the categories i selected it to show but it isnt a link ii want each category to be displayed on a separate page and i want all under categories to show up as well if you click on a category say it looks like this
Books
-hardcover
-softcover
-ebooks
Music
-pop
-synth
-classic
Then i want the category menu to show
Books
Music
and if i click on say Books the menu should slide up
showing
Books
-Hardcover
-Softcover
-ebooks
Music
and when i then select say hardcover i want to come to a product page for hard cover books
is this possible???????
