Dynamically Link Categories To Pages

  • I’m looking for an elegant way to link category links to the corresponding pages (they share names). For instance, if I click on the music category, I want that link to go to mysite.com/music (which is a page). Any advice on how to do this is much appreciated 🙂

  • You can create a category-music.php Page Template and add the link in HTML (even using PHP) to that. When someones navs to category/music this template will be used.

    See:

    Category Templates

This should be accomplished in a Child Theme (as edits to parent themes are lost on theme updates)

I have a similar problem and don’t know how to fix ( i also don’t know how to start a new question…)

I want to show only one portfolio category in a portfolio-loop how do i accomplish this?
