Hi!

Is it possible to dynamically change the centering coordinates of a layer and its zoom?

My idea is quite similar to the function that center the layer on a marker after clicking on it in the list under the map (but I need also to zoom in).

Hi calello,

yes, with the pro version you can override map parameters via shortcodes – see docs at https://www.mapsmarker.com/docs/basic-usage/how-to-create-maps-directly-by-using-shortcodes-only/

In addition with v2.8 we will add a new option which uses the individual marker instead of the layer zoom level when clicking on an icon or marker name in the list of markers.

Thank you so much!
I’ve added in my template page:

echo do_shortcode('[mapsmarker layer="2" lat="48.216038" lon="16.378984"]');

in order to update the position, but it seems it doesn’t work…
What am I doing wrong?

using layerviewlat and layerviewlon all works great!
