Hi guys, I’m sure this has likely been asked before, but the search facility is worse than useless, essentially I’m looking for the correct format (if possible) on providing a link from the product page (under title, etc) which will go to and open the reviews portion, just like it does now if there are reviews available. Ideally, if there are no reviews a link like “Be the first to leave a review”?
    Thanks in advance
    Marko

    Hi there 👋

I want to let you know that there’s no default option for that in WooCommerce and that would require quite a bit of additional coding. Please kindly note that this requires some custom coding – which goes beyond the scope of support we are able to provide in this forum.

In case that you do require more help with the actual coding, we’d recommend you hire a developer who can take a look at this, quote you for their services, and help you add this feature to your site. We’d recommend getting in touch with a web developer or one of the customization experts listed at https://woocommerce.com/customizations/.

    Cheers.

Thanks for the reply, I would have thought that because what I’m looking for is actually already on the page it wouldn’t have been particularly difficult, the “Be the first to review …” is already within the “review” section when no reviews have been left, this technically is all I would need to be below the title on the page, ideally with a link to the review section, understand it’s probably not quite as simple as I think it is but I’m still hopeful someone might be able to point me in the right direction, if I do manage to figure it out myself I’ll post back 🙂
    Cheers

    Hi @marko2002,

This is a fairly complex development topic as it needs editing the template of the product page and change placement of reviews using custom code. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

We haven’t heard back from you in a while, so I’m going to mark this as resolved – if you have any further questions, you can start a new thread.
