Dynamic homepages possible?

    Hi,

    I would like to create a WordPress homepage that is divided into six sections, each section displaying the latest blog in a given category. Is this possible? Are there any examples of something similar? Where would I go to find a developer to do this, if it is possible? Thanks for the help.
